Back before the 2012 San Diego Comicon I wrapped up my last issue as cover artist for Dynamite's Jennifer Blood. It was a fun ride getting to illustrate a female protagonist every month but it was time for a change. I didn't have to wait long to find something in my wheelhouse when Dynamite's Nick Barucci offered me a crack at one of my favorite pulp characters of all time - THE SHADOW!
The Shadow - Issue #9
Beginning with issue #8 I take over the reigns from the merry-go-round of awesome illustrators who have been providing covers. I'm looking forward to exploring this enigmatic character. I've always loved The Shadow, and maybe I can even dig up some of my old mid to late 80's Shadow fan art. I've done a few over the years. With Dynamite's current incarnation I'm thinking it's the perfect opportunity to create a body of work I can be very proud of, since The Shadow offers me the chance to play with a character and genre that is very dear to me. As you no doubt can tell, I'm very excited. I'm also very happy to be once again teamed up with one of my favorite writers/collaborators, the great and powerful Mr. Garth Ennis! Welcome to the beginning of what is sure to be a sweet run.
Hello! I simply wanted to state the fact that you actually managed to build a splendid site. Also I wanted to ask you one thing that I am interested about. Do you consider the option to write professionally or blogging is only a kind of hobby of yours?
